What We Do

Hazina Accelerator Program

We help startup businesses in Kenya gain relevant skills to grow their businesses, access mentorship support and seed capital to realize their business potentials.

We look for businesses that are:

  • Solving a genuine problem and need in the society.
  • Post revenue or pre-revenue with a minimum viable product.
  • Demonstrates a clear business model and is scalable.
  • Environmentally friendly.

Business Skills

Selected startups undergo a comprehensive training workshop where they are given relevant knowledge and skills to run their businesses.

Mentorship Support

Our pool of mentors drawn from different professional backgrounds are always available to guide and mentor our startup entrepreneurs.

Financial Capital

We do invest in our startups up to a sum of KES 150,000/= (approx. USD 1,000) seed capital to enable them execute their innovative business ideas.

Business Advisory

We do provide regular oversight and business advisory to our investees to help them remain focused while implementing their business strategies.

Why Startup Entrepreneurs?

Lack of relevant business skills

We provide the startups with relevant knowledge and skills to run their businesses.

Startup entrepreneurs fail not because they do not know their businesses but for simple reasons that most entrepreneurs lack relevant skills to effectively manage their businesses.

Lack of proper mentorship support

We have professional mentors that provides startups with required guidance.

Majority of startup entrepreneurs do not have someone to hold their hands and guide them towards the right direction in scaling up their businesses.

Lack of sources of financial capital

We finance startups to implement or scale up their business ideas.

Very few entrepreneurs are privileged to have ready capital at their disposal to help them execute their business ideas and scale up to the next level.
