Hazina Accelerator is a flagship initiative of Hazina Group Foundation that seeks to identify and support startup entrepreneurs gain relevant skills to start and/or grow their businesses, get mentorship support, as well as market and investor linkages so as to succeed in today’s competitive business landscape.
The program is designed for young men and women with potential to start and grow sustainable businesses. It is therefore open to any individual who has a business idea and is looking to transform it to a viable business.
No. You can apply with just an idea. You may be required to register your business later to access market and investor linkages as you grow.
Selected entrepreneurs will benefit from targeted business training, mentorship from industry experts and experienced entrepreneurs, linkages to markets and funding opportunities, and a platform to showcase your business idea to partners and funders.
We welcome innovative ideas from all sectors of the economy, special consideration shall however be given to high impact areas such as; water and sanitation, agribusiness, blue economy, green & clean energy, technology & digital solutions, and any other socially impactful enterprises.
The program runs for 6 months; combining virtual training, mentorship, in-person bootcamp, pitching competition, and a final graduation.
Yes, just like any other training program. The training fee is KES 15,000/=. The first 20 selected entrepreneurs to register and pay will get a sponsored discount and pay only KES 10,000/=. Costs for graduation and demo day are fully covered by our program partners.

Yes, teams are welcomed to apply. However, only one representative must take the lead in the application and program activities.
While we cannot guarantee direct investment; we provide exposure to potential investors, funders, and partners through pitch days, demo events, and our network of collaborators.
Graduates of Hazina Accelerator join our alumni network, gaining continuous access to mentorship, funding opportunities, and peer learning to keep growing their businesses.
